Before We Begin

Know what you want

This is a lot harder than it sounds and we understand the difficulty of visualising the finished work in 3 dimensions from the working drawings. We are here to help with this process and can even arrange for the plans and drawings to be created. These drawings tell us how the structure will look when completed but do not tell us any finishing details such as how the spaces are to be used or which floor coverings or wall colours are required. A detailed specification goes a long way to answering many questions, but knowing how furniture will placed within a space will assist planning of layouts for services such as electrics and plumbing/heating.

What price

The greater the level of detail provided for the tendering process the nearer the quoted figures will be, to what the project will finally cost you. Clarity at this stage will also help when alterations and modification to the drawings or specification need to be costed.

It is better to discuss any thoughts about possible changes as soon as they arise. It must be remembered that constant changes can cause costs to spiral out of control but if the change will have a significant impact on your enjoyment of the finished project then it must be dealt with.

STANDARD TERMS

A contract must be completed before a time slot can be booked in our schedule. This maybe our standard booking form (sent out with our tender) or we are happy to review one supplied by yourselves.

Stage payments will also need to be agreed, usually monthly intervals in advance. These will be based upon the contract sum and timescales involved. Delays in payments being made may be charged for.
