The property, originally built in the 1940's and sitting on a large site, had been added to and extended over many years. The main aim of the project was to bring together all these additions to achieve the feeling that the "new" house had always been this way. A full refurbishment including major internal alterations changed the property from a quaint three bedroom "cottage" to an imposing 5 bedroom, three bathroom home. As with almost all refurbishments there were a number of surprises along the way, all of which were dealt with without fuss. The owners moved out to facilitate the works which were very invasive.
